This place has the BEST Lobster Bisque in town! Dip a little bread in it, and you are in heaven. Daddy Jacks is one of my favorite spots when I have a craving for seafood.
Daddy Jack's has the best lobster bisque I've ever tasted! Granted, I'm a West Texas girl who doesn't get a chance to have fresh seafood as often as other Texans near the coast, but iti IS Wonderful. I highly recommend.
Simply flawless! Each time I visit Daddy Jack's, I'm never disappointed. I enjoy the laid back atmosphere as well as their friendly wait staff. From the fresh catch of the day to the massive beef tenderloin smothered in sautéed mushrooms, it's always wonderfully consistent and delicious. My absolute favorite appetizer there when available, is the piled high meaty crab fingers drenched in their garlic-butter wine sauce. Now that’s what I call FINGER LICKIN GOOD!!!
We love Daddy Jack's. Whether we're with a large group or just romantic dinner for two it's always a great experience. Start with the crab fingers and it can't get any better.
Daddy Jack's is one of my favorite restaurant in Sundance Square. My personal favorite is the Dominick's Special Salad topped with grilled salmon. The salad has a great combination of flavors from the roasted walnuts, sun-dried tomatoes, hearts of palm, and blue cheese crumbles. The house dressing, creamy basalmic vinagrette, perfectly finishes the salad. Lastly, I can hardly escape the house made Key Lime Pie, it's the perfect trio of sweet, tart and creamy.
HIghly recommend, great appetizers, meals, and atmosphere!!! Yummy, will go back many times when we have the chance... :)
Overall, less than impressed with follow through. House wine leaves something to be desired. Husbands stuffed flounder was good. Kids shrimp pasta wasn't bad. Lobster bisque was wonderful. Clam Chowder was great too. However, my stuffed shrimp was HORRIBLE. Shrimp was way over cooked. Stuffing was glorified baby food, that my two year old wouldn't eat. Had to flag down a bus boy to tell him because we couldn't get the server to come back. Then the manager just took it off the bill and couldn't be bothered to come to the table. And since when do four children 7 and under count for 18.5% gratuity if I have to flag the bus boy for a problem? I don't think we will ever return for any Lint or otherwise occasion.
