THE MUCH ANTICIPATED PIRANHA KILLER SUSHI OPENS IN SUNDANCE SQUARE
FORT WORTH, Texas (April 17, 2006) Piranha Killer Sushi, one of the Metroplex's most recognized sushi restaurants, recently opened its second location at 335 West Third Street in downtown Fort Worth's vibrant Sundance Square.
"Piranha's is a great addition to Sundance Square's already dynamic restaurant ensemble," said Johnny Campbell, president of Sundance Square.
"Piranha Killer Sushi is stylish and chic, but more importantly the food is outstanding. We have been anticipating the opening of the restaurant and are thrilled Sundance Square¹s patrons will now have the opportunity to enjoy Piranha's."
Acclaimed sushi chefs Kenzo Tran and Tommy Le have had great success with their first location at 851 NE Green Oaks Blvd. in Arlington. The two, originally from Vietnam, first met in the restaurant business in Palm Beach, Florida. Separate career paths led each of them to the North Texas area. Tran's culinary training not only includes Japanese fare, but French and Italian as well.
"Our menu has not only been influenced by my culinary backgrounds, but also our customers' requests," said Tran. "We're not afraid to get a little creative. In fact, we think that¹s what separates us from the other sushi restaurants in the area."
Piranha Killer Sushi is known for its artful signature rolls, including its popular Mexican roll featuring tempura shrimp, avocado and asparagus, accompanied with a touch of masago. Piranha¹s Fort Worth location is similar in look-and-feel to its current Arlington restaurant, displaying a sleek and clean modern interior accented with bold colors and artful sea life accents.
