Brian Clancy Quartet Live!

DFW native, Brian Clancy, plays the saxophone with style beyond his years.  He recently released his debut album, Introducing Brian Clancy, which features a host of wonderful musicians on a variety of straight ahead jazz standards, ballads, and a few original compositions.    Join Brian and his quintet at Scat for one of their last performances before he moves to the west coast.   There is no cover charge for the show.

Scat is located at 111 W. 4th Street, Suite 11 in the historic Woolworth Building, basement level.  Look for the alleyway entrance off of 4th Street between the Worthington National Bank and Jos. A. Bank Clothiers.  Hours are 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays and 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Saturdays.  Closed on Monday.  Don't forget Happy Hour drink specials are served each Friday 'til 8 p.m.

Emotion Brown and the Cosmos Perform!

Emotion and the Cosmos is  live soul and alternative music sound machine that is the dream child of lead vocalist, Emotion Brown.  Not aimed at radio, Emotion and the Cosmos brings to its underground and highly active fan base an unparalleled transparent approach to creating substantial music that relies on unique lyrics, solid subject matter, and richly produced grooves mixed with live instrumentation.  Don't miss their Scat debut!  Showtime is 9 p.m.
